AUGUST'S I.C.s - EMILY MAITLIS

*
Emily Maitlis broadened her party range in August. This is apt, as Emily likes her parties. She was not very active however, as all these results came from one edition of Newsnight (that of 27/8):

David Willetts, Conservative - 1
David Laws, Lib Dem - 0.5
Vernon Coaker, Labour - 0.3
Sir Ming Campbell, Lib Dem - 0
David Willetts, Conservative - 0

Average number of interruptions per political party:

Conservative - 0.5

Labour - 0.3

Lib Dems - 0.3

The top three results all came from one joint-interview, & the bias against Mr Willetts was palpable. Emily was all over him - though not in a good way! (I have reviewed this elsewhere). When Willetts returned this imbalance was somewhat redressed (though it was a lighter spot, on 'Labour's children').

Note also that Sir Ming got another free ride. (Lucky man!)
