RYAN v RADIO 5LIVE

*
DB on the Biased BBC website had highlighted concerns over bias at Radio 5Live (a channel I have neither the time nor the inclination to listen to), in particular some correspondence between commenter Ryan (good man!) and Radio 5Live's controller Adrian Van Klaveren that is well worth a read, being very instructive about the biased mentality (and sheer illogicality) of the BBC's top brass:

  1. Good spot, Craig. I commented on it on B-BBC site.
Also advertised your blog there about a week / 10 days ago, but no sign of many other posters here, save TPO and "anonymous". Shame really, you could do with more support.

  2. Thanks Grant. I did spot your advert for me and raised a glass of wine to you for it!

PS - time I came out of the woodwork. I'm Andy C. You can catch my latest comment over at the Telegraph on Benedict Brogan's latest article. Even over there I don't have as much time as I used to.

  4. It's a well-worn phrase but it's so true - there aren't enough hours in the day!

Good stuff over on Benedict Brogan's page. Your proposal on the Blairs and Kinnocks should be a priority for Day 1 of any incoming Conservative government (even before cutting the deficit!). It would be wildly popular.

Just caught up with your DT post. Personally, I think you are a little too moderate. Why should Blair and Kinnock escape with deportation, unless you were thinking of Somalia or Haiti ?
Loved the bit about the middle-aged female wasters in the NHS. So true. But how could you criticise the envy of the world ? Think how much worse it would be to be ill in France, Holland, Germany, Sweden.......etc. etc. !!
