There was another story on this morning's Today prompted by a report from a left-wing think tank, this time the hippy, drippy New Economics Foundation:
A 21-hour working week could be "inevitable", according to a New Economics Foundation think tank report. It argues that a much shorter working week could help to tackle overwork, unemployment, inequalities, and cut carbon emissions. Mark Littlewood, director-general of the Institute for Economic Affairs, and Anna Coote, head of social policy at New Economics Foundation, debate the pros and cons of a shorter working week. The ever-excellent free-marketeer Mr Littlewood - the sort of Lib Dem I like! - called it 'fantasy' and 'total madness'.

They are not having the same "debate" in China or India or Brazil or any of the countries which have a future !
