A minor point maybe but we've heard a heck of a lot on The Andrew Marr Show, The Politics Show and many other BBC programmes about opinion polls recently. These opinion polls tend to show the gap between Labour and the Conservatives narrowing (the ones that show the most narrowing getting the most coverage at the BBC). Today's Comres poll for The Independent, which shows the Tory lead widening again to 11%, is however receiving very little coverage. Sky News are covering it though:
