JULY'S I.C.s - SHAUN LEY

I've chronicled (at some length) the biased doings of Shaun Ley on 'The World At One', so what do his I.C.s tell us?

Ley has presided over 15 interviews with UK politicians.

Here are his interruption coefficients for July:

Theresa May, Conservative (24/7) - 1.2
Timothy Kirkhope, Conservative (17/7) - 1.2
Sadiq Khan, Labour (31/7) - 1.0
Shaun Bailey, Conservative (26/7) - 0.9
Ed Balls, Labour (3/7) - 0.8
Harriet Harman, Labour (24/7) - 0.6
Nigel Farage, UKIP (12/7) - 0.5
Julia Drown, Labour (26/7) - 0.5
Lord Goldsmith, Labour (5/7) - 0.2
Peter Mandelson, Labour (17/7) - 0.2
Lord Gilbert, Labour (17/7) - 0
Claire Kober, Labour (3/7) - 0
Michael Mates, Conservative (30/7) - 0
Graham Watson, Lib Dem (12/7) - 0
Richard Caborn, Labour (19/7) - 0

Average number of interruptions for each political party:
Conservatives - 0.8
UKIP - 0.5
Labour - 0.4
Lib Dems - 0

His June averages tell a similar story, with the Conservatives at 0.7, Labour at 0.4 and the Lib Dems at 0.

Shaun Ley is one biased BBC interviewer!
