EVAN SEES RED MIST

My early high hopes for Evan Davis have been fading month by month. His interview this morning with Chris Grayling, over the Conservatives' alleged misuse of crime statistics, was not one of this thoughtful, relaxed interviews - far from it. Evan's tone here has been very accurately described by Not a sheep as "indignant". If Evan is on tomorrow's 'Today' and gets to interview a Labour politician, I hope he tackles him and waxes equally righteous on the issue of Gordon Brown's outright lies at Prime Minister's Questions:
